They ate buffalo meat and they did not eat fish even though they are near the two rivers, the red river and the brazes river. Hope this sorta helped! :)

They grew most of their food that included corn, peas, beans, squash, melons, sunflowers, pumpkins, and tobacco. They also hunted deer fowl, bear and other wild animals for food.
