My 1995 S10 uses r134a. The label on the compressor top will verify this. The low pressure valve you will add refrigerant through is on the accumulator. Hope that helps.
Or the low pressure port is on the output evaporator line on a 4 cylinder engine, not the accumulator like the V6. It should have a blue cap, the high pressure which is on the intake line to the evaporator should have a red cap.
