Umm...... I would advise you not to use gravel. They will bite on it or injure themselves. Stick to wwod shaving or put abox of clean sand in their box. They really love this..........hope it helps

Metal rakes are more durable when it comes to raking leaves from gravel. If you have smaller gravel use a rake with thinner tines and for larger gravel use a rake with bigger tines.
