A manager is one who leads, direct, guide and try to suerge goals of individual for the achievement of the organisationl goal. so he need to motivate his subordinates in such a way that achievement of the organisational objective becaomes prime of all. for this he uses various techniques he might motivate positively or by negative tools too. for positive he uses fringe benefits, monetary benefits, givig subordinate chance to give suggestions, advise relating to work to management, etc.... and in negative he might adopt a authoritarian approach and will direct people as he want giving no opportunity to say, speak or react, just doing work without much questioning, he might deduct their salary for not working properly, or even scare them of demotion, suspention, or even firing them. Apart from all this a manager can use anything for motivation depending upon his own capability, ability and influencing power.
