Anything newer than 1996 is OBD II
Any brand of 10W-30 or 10W-40. I prefer Pennzoil.

SAE 5w30 is the correct weight oil. If the vehicle has over 100,000 miles use a High Mileage oil.
I have an original Infinity manual and also a CD-ROM with the 1993 Infinity fully illustrated and it lists both the Mitsubishi and Hitachi. I believe it's okay to use either. The spec design is almost the same! Bob F.

I have been running Castrol Syntec 20w50 in my Altima for 15 years, and have not had an oil related problem. The car has 230K miles on it.
Well I don't know what oil, comes stock in the Infiniti. But I do know that you can use any type of oil for the Infiniti just like any other rig. Preferred Royal Purple and Castrol Syntec or EDGE.
In G20 engines-SR20DE- The transmission dipstick, located just in front and under the distributor cap, is where you pour in more transmission fluid. You have to use a long and skinny funnel with a small enough end to fit in the transmission dipstick.
Use TRIP button on dash and press until you get to oil change screen. Easy to reset then. OR Call Infinity dealer and service dept will walk you through it. Mark
Use a funnel and add the fluids directly down the dipstick tubes.
