You don't normally need to. The filter is a sponge on the fuel pump in the gas tank. if it is bad then you need to pull the fuel pump to change it.
The fuel filter is part of the pump module in the fuel tank on that truck. You need to remove the fuel tank to access the pump.

ACTUALLY THE FUEL FILTER IS IN THE FUEL TANK AND THEY ARE BASICALLY PERMENENT ALTHOUGH THEY WILL EVENTUALLY CLOG UP YOU SHOULDNT REALLY NEED WORRY ABOUT THE FILTER.
