According to the 2001 Ford F-250 Owner Guide :
The 5.4 liter gasoline V8 engine takes :
With engine oil filter change :
( 5.7 liters / 6.0 U.S. quarts of 5W-20 )
2001 ford diesel has a 36 gallon tank
20.0 gallons on the 4 cyl model.
On the Gas petal inside the vechile.
I have a 2001 with a diesel and its a 38 gallon tank
The gas engined vehicles get 12-16 mpg. On a 2001 Ford F-250 7.3L Super Duty Diesel Lariat...I usually get anywhere from 15 - 19 mpg.
No the 2006 belt is for the 6.0L and a 99 is a 7.3L way different. If you have a diesel. Maybe if its a gas engine and has the 5.4L 2 valve in both models. If one has the 2-valve and other 3 valve per cyl then no they are different engines. Good luck. Hope this helps.
It depends if it is a 6 or 8 cyl...my LS V8 gives 18 in town and about 24 on road trips
bad
In the gas tank......
diesel or gas?
In most vehicles you have to actually lower the fuel tank and take the pump out of the top. This is not as complicated as it sounds if you are methodical and mechanically adept.
