I've been putting Amsoil 30wt - 10/30 wt along with the Amsoil EAO oil filters in a few customers trucks for a couple of years. It's been doing just fine. The owners love the extended oil changes and the engines run smoother and quieter too. If we had hot desert temps here in northern Calif I would switch them over to the 15-40, maybe. The 30 wt has been thel choice for my 7.3 for nearly 4 years. still running the same oil with dual filtration from Amsoil along with regular oil analysis. 20.8 mpg at 67mph on cruise all day long.
