For high-vacuum pumps, a low vapor pressure oil like mineral oil or synthetic hydrocarbon oil is recommended. These oils offer high stability, low vaporization rates, and reduced backstreaming, crucial for maintaining vacuum levels. Additionally, they provide effective lubrication and thermal conductivity for optimal pump performance.

vacuum pump through the dipstick or oil access port.
An oil pump Or do you mean the type?
SAE 10w30 Full Synthetic oil any major brand is what to use in the engine. The water pump uses DP70 pump oil or 30w non-detergent oil.
Depends on the manufacture and the size of the pump. These pumps use a special oil so contact the manufacture for the exact amount and type oil.
Depends on the manufacture of the pump which you do not list. There is no manufacturer marked on the pump. It's one of those pumps used in a high pressure water sprayer. Ie: Karcher 1750 psi. type. Can I remove any water from inside it & change it over to pump hydraulic oil through a reservior to work a small hydraulic ram? Then it is a Karcher. No, you cannot use it to pump hydraulic oil in a ram.
It's a bad vacuum line from the motor to the gauge
Yes, this really can happen. The transmission modulator ruptures and vacuum system system draws out trans fluid into engine oil thru vacuum pump into engine crankcase. Been there, done that. I replaced the modulator valve and dropped engine oil.
