A plant that contains both male and female blossoms is called "monoecious". I believe the same term is used for hermaphroditic blossoms. The opposite is "dioecious" - male and female blossoms born on different plants.

All flowers have both male and female sex cells. the male sex cell is pollen and is made in the anthers while the female sex cell, just like in humans, is the ova and is made in the ovaries.
