Sunflowers generally prefer a warm but not hot climate, between 70 and 78 degrees Fahrenheit. They are tolerant of drought but do better with occasional rainfall and/or soil that retains water well.

the best soil for it is a lot of fertilizer and low in salt. It needs to be in the sun and it is best to put liquid fertilizer on it but that is optional
