First there is no such thing as a CLK500 AMG
Second the plugs go 100k miles unless an engine code indicates misfire
If this happens, you will need to get the codes reset at the dealer
Third, you may or may not know that there are 16 plugs on the 5 liter
Fourth, the engine has aluminum heads so changing plugs must be done carefully and with proper tools, like a torque wrench for example.
i really suggest you take this thing to a dealer if you want to change a plug - if you have looked at where they are located, it is no small task.
This bike has a parallel twin cylinder engine so it has two spark plugs.
There are four spark plugs in this bike's engine as it has a four cylinder V.
It is probably an ignition problem. The spark is becoming intermittent at high RPM'sStart with replacing spark plugs
The Honda Shadow came with a single cylinder 125 cc engine and a V-Twin 2 cylinder 500, 600, 700, 800, & 1100cc, engine, depending on which model you buy. The single cylinder 125 cc has one spark plug. All the other V-Twin engines have 2 spark plugs.
A 1968 Ford Galaxie 500 with a 390 engine should use a spark plug such as an E3 brand spark plug. This plug should have a tapered seat with 18mm threads.
To change a spark plug you need to take off the seat and the side panel on the right side. After you do this the spark plug will be in front of the carb and on top of the engine block.
Cost is relative....let me explain.....probably when you pull plug coils you most likely find oil in holes.....some of the coils will be oil soaked.....best to replace all coils....new plug hole gaskets and valve cover gaskets .....while replacing spark plugs.....coils run about $20 each....$160 and up....new gaskets.....$30 dollars.....gasket sealant...$5.00 and 8 spark plugs $2.50-$4.0 each depending on your choice.........and 4 hrs minimum labor....$75/hour....total...$500 to $600 to do it right....can save $300 labor if you do it yourself....cecil
Remove the plastic covers of the air intake systems. There are two black rectangular covers on each side of the engine bay. Remove the bolts, the coils and spark plugs will be exposed. There are four (4) on each side, when you look down from the hood, from the front end of the car. Note: Special tools are needed: Female torx wrench to open the cover, Allan wrench to open the spark plug pack, plus the regular spark plugs tools you used. weijen_hsu@yahoo.com
Take the seat off , then the right side cover . The spark plug will be behind the ground cable on top of the motor . Should be a special spark plug tool in your tool kit .
We have a 1995 Mitsubishi Montero (the people that brought your the fighter ZERO) and when it came time for a tune-up we couldn't get the plugs out. The car dealer here charged us over 500 dollars for a tune up and they had to remove the top part of the engine to reach the plugs, hence the large dollar value. We will NEVER own another Mitsubishi again! Good luck:)

High level description here: Changing spark plugs and wires in my 1996 Express was an all day project for me. It's been a few years, but I recall I had to take the front wheels off to get access. Be safe. I needed to get s 3", 6", and 12", socket wrench extensions as well as a universal joint. I'm pretty sure I used 1/2" drive sockets. The motor cover in the passenger compartment needed to come out to get access to the distributor. I do not recall whether or not I got access to the rear plugs from the inside or outside. I couldn't fathom why a garage wanted over $500 to change the plugs, wires, distributor cap. After I did the job I understood. Good luck!
