States had more power. They did not want the federal government to have too much power like Britain/Parliament. What couldn't Congress do under the Articles of Confederation? Congress couldn't regulate trade or collect taxes.
The government is undertaking a contractionary policy.
they shouldn't have taxes anyway
It's more of a state tax. But the Government does help regulate it
Federal Income taxes are used to pay for every type of payment that the Federal Government makes. This includes Military, Homeland Security, Federal employees, Social Security, Medicare, Federal Parks, College and School Costs, Food Stamps, all Federal Welfare Programs, all Federal Departments, and everything else paid by the Federal Government including foreign aid. All these expenses and others are paid from income taxes and other taxes and fees.
central and federal are the same type of government but in some countries it is known by the name of "federal government"
Originally, 1795 to 1790 Internal Revenue agents for the government collected taxes due to pay the war debt of the United States as well as to pay for the trip's to create foreign trade. 1791 forward it was for the same purpose, by the same type of agent. but due to the people not being good stewards the federal government over step's its bounds and started using taxes to guarantee re-election and to keep one party in power by spending money to hire people or build things. James Buchanan started this in the 1820's also rescinding Anti slave laws that were put into effect by President George Washington. In 1943 the Internal Revenue Service was created, which actually is not part of the federal government. They are the collection service hired by the federal government to collect taxes Today the "pork" is so out of control that the government is placing debt on the children of this country,U.S.A., for the first time in history. Children of the United States are now reverse millionaire's, which means they owe a million dollars to the debt of this government.
