Mercron transmission fluid is used in a 1978 Ford Thunderbird. Type F fluid can also be used but should not be mixed.
Not sure what year your truck is, but up to 2007 uses Ford Mercon ATF (auto transmission fluid).

there are a few different ones if they are the same as on my 91 im pretty sure they are. rear end is a 10.25 or a 11.5 front is a dana50 or dana80
