The 1986 Honda 350 transmission has a capacity of eight pints of transmission fluid. The manufacturer recommends that you never overfill the transmission fluid.
Dexron II only
If you just use the drain plug to drain the fluid, it will only take about 3 to 3.5 qts to refill.
If it has automatic transmission, it takes transmission fluid.
10.5 Quarts if the torque converter is dry also.
It calls for transmission fluid =]
Most likely it will take mercon transmission fluid. Not to be confused with mercon V transmission fluid. To be sure pull the transmission stick out and read the side of the stick. It will tell you what fluid to use.
What kind of Transmission fluid does a Volvo S60 Take 2003 Both the 40 series and the 60 series use a fully Synthetic trans fluid. DO NOT just put any old trans fluid in there. Those that have flushed these transmissions with the older Mercon/Dexron fluid found out they made about a $3,000 mistake. Castrol Syngard meets and exceeds ALL 2000 and newer Volvos excluding the S80 with the GM transmission in it. The S80 GM style transmission that comes with the 2.9 and the twin turbo 2.8 uses Mercon/dexron. If you have a hard time finding the Castrol for your car the dealers do keep it in 1 litre containers but be prepared, it is a bit pricey
80 weight transmission fluid is recommended for the Toyota forklift. The transmission fluid is actually hydraulic fluid. The transmission fluid should be changed every 250 hours.
There is none for an automatic transmission. You will have to drop (take off) the transmission fluid pan to drain it.
