Guinea Pigs can eat wood, its okay. Many guinea pigs will eat their own bedding-which is sawdust (wood).
They need to chew on hard objects or their teeth will get to long and it will be harder for them to eat or drink.

∙ 11y agoYour guinea pig should not eat a large amount of wood, but it is perfectly normal and healthy for a Guinea pig to nibble on wood. Since their teeth never stop growing, nibbling on wood is a good way to wear down the teeth.
Guinea pigs should always have tough grass, hey and wooden sticks to eat and chew on.
Make sure the wood isn't treated with chemical products or infected with fungi though. As a precaution, you could boil a few sticks of wood in water for 10 minutes, then let the wood cool down and dry out before offering it to the animal.
