The "Savage/ Stevens" model 311, 12 gauge uses 2 3/4" shells. Just make sure that you do not use a hard shoot (steel, tungsten, etc.) in it or any of the new high pressure shells in it.
1955?
Would need the specific model number.
1950's-1960's
no
Would have been made after WW2 through the 1960's. Value up to $250.
No. There is a 583,17 made by High Standard though, look at the model # on the barrel again.
A Model 37 is a "pump", so a double barrel could not be a Model 37
It is marked on the barrel and begins 583. xxx
$150-$250 depending on condition. Much less if it is rusty or broken, a little more if like-new.
If it's not immediatley apparent, you won't.
Sears sold imported Zoli shotguns as well as private branded Winchester 101 shotguns. Would need to know the model number off of the barrel.
The right barrel is mod. The left is full. front trigger fires the right barrel. The back one fires the left.
