Manga traditionally flows from right to left.
I can read any type of book backwards, but it may be more challenging with books that have complex or non-linear narratives.
The same types as are read elsewhere.
Colonists read literature such as poems and narratives.
Not to the Chinese! Traditional Chinese books (and therefore, Japanese) are written to be read top to bottom right to left. Books in the English and the Romance languages are read left to right and top to bottom.

They actually don't read backwards. The Japanese read from right to left because they write different than the people in the US. They probably think that we write and read backwards. It's kind of confusing.
