A lot the countries use kph (kilometres per hour). But some countries don't. This is used more.
miles edit: kilometers in the rest of the world
You can use feet and inches if you are in the USA or you can use metres or centimetres as used by the rest of the world.
Because the metric unit is used in the rest of the world. We are perhaps the only country with our own customary unit system.
that's the way its measured in the US. the rest of the world uses Celsius as it is the metric unit.
America uses feet; the rest of the world uses meters.
You can use ANY unit of speed - but the logical unit of speed in this case would be the one you obtain by dividing the specific unit of length by the specific unit of time, so in this case, miles per hour.
You can't convert a distance unit to a time unit. If this is for a speed problem, you would have to know the speed; in this case, use the formula: distance = speed x time.
SI UNIT : metre/second2 CGS UNIT :cm/second2
Miles per hour or killometers
(Any unit of length or distance) divided by (any unit of time)is a unit of speed, that can be used to describe the motion of any moving object. In the case of cars, the units used almost universally are [ kilometer per hour ] in mostof the world, and [ mile per hour ] in the USA and a few other backward regions.
The most convenient unit to use for speed would be the (kilometer per hour), of which the bus would have averaged a rate of 30.
Velocity is speed, plus an indication of direction. To indicate a velocity, you can indicate a speed (this will logically use units of speed), and a direction.
