Foobar2000 is primarily a media player. However, Foobar2000 can also be used to convert between different audio file formats and to create multiple playlists.
To import your iTunes library into Foobar2000, first, ensure that your iTunes library is in XML format. Open Foobar2000, go to "File," then select "Add files" or "Add folder," and navigate to the XML file located in your iTunes folder (typically named "iTunes Music Library.xml"). Alternatively, you can use the "Import" option in the Library menu if you have the necessary components installed. Once imported, your iTunes library should appear in Foobar2000 for playback and management.

There is very little difference between the 'quality' of most PC software media players. If there is much difference between lossless media players, it normally has more to do with the decoder used in that player (e.g. Nero and WMP are notoriously bad for this). Foobar2000 is normally rated highly for quality. http://foobar2000.org/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foobar2000 Foobar also has the advantage of coming with all the major lossless codecs 'from the box', replaygain, lastFM, and iPod support, and has various other improvments that are unavaible on other players, or require plugins (e.g. kernel streaming)
