did you also replace the regulator? sometimes its the regulator that goes bad and not the motor.
The coolant temperature sensor on a 2001 Jeep Cherokee is located in the intake manifold. It monitors the flow and temperature of coolant through the engine.

I'm answering my own question. The BLUE WIRE is behind the driver's side kick panel. On my '92 Jeep Laredo, it was folded up on itself with no connector. This is the wire that goes back to the 7 pin connector that operates the trailer brakes. It is typically connected to the BLUE WIRE on the brake controller. Dan

I had the same problem, all I did was replace the fitting that the bulb goes in with a new one ( $8.00 fix) and replaced the tail light and haven't had a problem since.
Any name brand 10w30.
It takes 5W30.
Most likely problem is a low voltage problem. Week battery, alternator. etc..
The serpentine belt goes around all of your pullies in the front of your motor, behind the radiator.
if it has a knock that is not the issue, cooling fan relay goes bad, they run hot & develop a knock inside the motor
Fuse nineteen goes to the fog lights. The fuse box as well as the manual should have a diagram of the fuse box.
Check the ground wire between the socket and the vehicle chassis and make sure that the connection is good.
John L Sullivan says the same motor goes into 2001 up to 2008.... But Does that Mean that the motors will go in to same pattern?
