If the CMOS battery dies you lose the settings that are held in the BIOS (Basic Input Output System). These include settings such as date/time, boot order, etc.
"Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise" is an aphorism by Benjamin Franklin that emphasizes the importance of hard work, discipline, and health, values that are still widely held in America.
no. it is a backing storage device. because it gives the user fast access to the information held on them.
One is that people have the "right" to drive. Two is the belief that they have the right of way in cases that they don't. Three is that a four wheel drive vehicle is invincible. Four is that the car gives them power.
To partition something means to divide it into several parts that are held separate from each other. This is true whether the partition is of land, as in Palestine/Israel, or of a hard drive, such at the main drive of a computer.
Data held on the hard drive, is considered to be permanent. It will still be there, after the power has been removed for many years. Random Access Memory (RAM) is the working memory, held on microchips and needs power to keep the data. It will be immediately lost when the computer is switched off. This usually of little consequence as important data is always held on the hard drive. The RAM is only used for temporary data whilst working.
Contemporary value refers to the significance or importance of something in the present time or with respect to current trends, beliefs, or circumstances. This term is often used to assess the relevance or worth of an idea, concept, or work of art within today's societal context.
Because RAM memory allows very fast access to the data held in this type of memory compared to the data stored on the hard drive.
respect is held by everyone it can be in power or even religion but the base is respect
The data is held on the hard drive in a computer system. The data is changed into single numbers and then recorded by the hardware on the computer before storage.
Active directory is held in the sysvol folder in the C drive.
The hard drive fits inside the computer tower (or inside the case of a laptop). In the case of a desktop computer, you will need to remove the side of the case and find and empty bay (3.5 inches wide) in which to slot the hard drive. In most cases it will be held in by four screws, but some cases are designed with sliders that screw to the hard drive first, then allow it to be slotted into place. The hard drive needs two connections, one for power and one for data. The power connector comes from the power supply and the data cable links directly to the motherboard (or, in some cases, from a card slotted into the board). If you are using an IDE connection (a wide connector with 40 pins on the drive) you will need to set the jumpers on the drive. There should be a diagram on the top of the drive to help you with this. Inserting and removing hard drives in this way should only be done when the computer is switched off.
