The 2011 Ford E350 van gets 10 mpg city and 14 mpg highway.

My 1989 G20 van gets 15 mpg
There is no answer to this without more info; Engine size, body type and driving style will all have differing MPG's. For example my van gets 20mpg when I drive, my wife gets 16mpg, same van different driver!
It looks like the 2011 Toyota RAV4 2WD gets the best MPG. It gets 28 MPG on the freeway and 22 MPG in the city. There is no reason it wouldn't be available in Honolulu.

The domestic automobile gets the best MPG is the Chevy Volt by far. This vehicle is primarily an electric car and is said to get in excess of 100 mpg.

The Honda Insight gets a whopping estimated 66 highway mpg and 60 city mpg, and the Toyota Prius gets 60 city mpg as well but only 51 highway mpg, and also the Honda Civic Hybrid gets 47 city mpg and 48 highway mpg.

My 1978 VW westfalia camper van (with all my stuff in it) gets about 20 mpg highway 17 mpg city.
I bought my Chevy G20 van new in Nov. 1975 and we're still using it to carry the large loads or for hauling trailers. It has a 350 engine and a 4 barrel carburetor and only gets 10 mpg. Interestingly, while pulling our 23' travel trailer, the van still burned 10 mpg!
