∙ 11y agoI don't think I have ever seen cantaloupe sold any other way than fresh. Never dried, canned, etc... But, I probably haven't seen everything. I highly doubt that there is any fruit or vegetable that is only sold fresh.

The likely answer is watermelon. However, there are commercially available dried watermelon chips, and these can be made at home (although they may have limited shelf life). Pickled watermelon rind is also sold in some areas.
Can a vegetarian live on canned food?
Can they? Yes. Should they? No. Canned foods are very high in sodium and are processed. Everyone should stick to fresh food if they have the option.
