What verse in the Bible does it speak of a man going to hell?

In the King James Version:-

The word "Hell" appears 54 times.... too many times to list here in answer to such a vague question.

In conjunction with the word "go" it appears in:-

* Psa 55:15 Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them. * Pro 5:5 Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.

* Mar 9:43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

In conjunction with the word "going" it appears in:-

* Pro 7:27 Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.

There are many verses in The Bible that speak of a man going to hell. Here are three - Mark 9.43,45,47. There are similar verses in Revelation where hell is called, the lake of fire.

Another thought:

Two specific people come to mind. Jonah and Jesus.

Jonah (Jonah 2:1-2) "...then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly, And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of HELL cried I, and thou heardest my voice." (KJV)

Jesus (Acts 2:27,31,32) "...because thou wilt not leave my soul in HELL...He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in HELL...."KJV (fulfilled prophecy at Psalm 16:10)

Job prayed to GO to 'Hell' when he was suffering.

The words Sheol (Hb) and Hades (Gk) , though often translated 'Hell', literally mean the 'grave'...that is, the 'common grave of mankind'(gravedom).
