MPEG-4
I used Mpeg 4 I think you should use that for a PSP.
Normal MP3 files. Windows Audio/Video files will not work in a PSP unless you enable WMA Playback. However, WMAs with copyright protection (WMA-DRM) will be considered Unsupported Data.
First you download the Any Video Converter (no viruses) and than change the video format to MPEG 4, a 100 megabyte video takes about 21 minutes. The PSP does NOT support any other files that i know of. PSP Video 9 is a free PSP video converter that converts video files, YouTube videos, movies and DVD's so you can play them on your PSP. The software can convert all types of video files (avi, divx, xvid, flv, x264, mkv, vob, mpeg, DVD's, YouTube, etc.) into the proper video formats (MPEG-4, H.264) that play on the PSP. not DVD files. you have to convert them to PSP video files first..i think its UMI or U something...you'll have to look up PSP video file types to find out for sure what to convert the file to. You can download a file converter from the internet...my favorite site with the least amount of viruses is cnet.com
Some videos are not the correct screen size format for the psp go. I have one also and have noticed that some .mp4 files will not play because of the screen size. I noticed that some videos that are meant for ipod work with the psp go. Hope this helps.
If you video is mp4, just follow below steps to add video to psp: 1.connect psp to PC using a usb cable, go to psp select usb code. 2.open the memory stick on PC, you will see lots of files, make a new folder called "VIDEO" on "MP_ROOT" copy your MP4 file to this folder
To transfer music from BearShare to a PSP the PSP needs to be connected to the computer. When the files are downloaded a person will need to choose where the files should be saved to and the PSP should be chosen as the file to save the files on. This will allow the files to go straight to the PSP once they are downloaded.
1. Use a USB to connect to a computer and then go to "Open Folder to View Files" then click on VIDEO. 2. Make shore the format of the Video is MPEG-4 otherwise it will not work, then Copy & Paste into the Video folder. Ta da! :D
A Sony PSP component video cable is needed. It connects the A/V output on the PSP to an RCA Component video and analog audio on a TV.
