Virtues are like habits because they are cultivated through repetition and practice. Just as habits shape our behavior in daily life, virtues shape our character and influence the way we act and respond to situations. Cultivating virtues involves consciously choosing to act in accordance with moral standards and values.
I have been a Baptist all my life and have never heard of any one being erased. That must be an Independent Baptist church that has decided to "remove" a member from the church roll book. It is NOT a formal document or practice in Baptist churches a a whole.

Cardinal virtues (prudence, justice, temperance, fortitude) are developed through practice and help us live a virtuous life. Infused virtues are qualities or characteristics that are described as being implanted or infused into a person's soul by God, rather than acquired through practice or effort. These virtues are seen as supernatural gifts that enable individuals to act in accordance with moral excellence and help guide them towards a life of virtue and righteousness. Examples of infused virtues include faith, hope, and charity.
John the Baptist was not a Christian, as we typically think of Christians. John lived and died before Christ's death and resurrection, so he had no opportunity to become a Christian, per se. However, John the Baptist clearly lived a life exclusively dedicated to obedience to God, which is obviously a virtue Christians are commanded to exhibit.
St. Thomas Aquinas is known for practicing virtues such as faith, humility, prudence, and justice. He believed in seeking truth through reason and believed in leading a life in accordance with ethical principles.
Some of life's most important virtues are love, respect, and peace. These are important to maintain good relationships and live a happy life.
