Gall bladder issues can refer pain to your right shoulder area.
Heart conditions can refer pain to the left arm, and many abdominal viscera can refer pain to the RIGHT shoulder/upper arm. However, I am not aware of any pain referral patterns from the low back or abdominal viscera to the left arm. Nor am I aware of any left arm conditions that can refer to the low back. However, that does not mean that it is not possible!!
There are many causes of gas and diarrhea, but the right shoulder pain is most likely "referred pain" due to the stomach distress. The phrenic nerve is involved... I've also had right shoulder pain after my c-section, and the doctor explained how it was due to the phrenic nerve getting irritated and extending the pain to the right shoulder.
right shoulder
True
i pitched in baseball for a couple of years, and my shoulder does the same thing. On my right shoulder, the bone feels loose, but there is no pain.

No, however there can be referred pain to the shoulder from irritation of the diaphragm. A ruptured ectopic/tubal pregnancy can cause intra-abdominal bleeding which can irritate the diaphragm and refer pain to the shoulder area (tip of scapula). If you have abdominal and shoulder pain or there is any chance you are pregnant and having shoulder pain see a doctor immediately.
Its probably because either you popped your shoulder out of place or the pain signals are to painful making you stay awake to worry about it.
See a doctor. Could be stroke...signs for a heart attack. It will not hurt to go and get it checked out.
Most likely a gallbladder attack.
A:Referred pain from the appendix would usually present as diffuse pain or discomfort around the belly button, or sharp pain in the right lower quadrant. Sometimes though, depending on how the patients' innards developed when they were an embryo, it could actually be felt in the right shoulder as well. Refer to dermatomes and nerve distribution.
Indigestion, Right upper abdominal pain, pain between your shoulders, pain in your right shoulder. A ultrasound is done, also lab work, (elevated liver enzymes) for diagnosis.
