I have a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo LSE 3.2L 6-cyl. I have been using Rotella Synthetic 5w-40 oil for quite some time now. Burns a lot less then any other oils I tried. I was using the recommended oil but was burning it up so fast had to replace or add more every other week. Now with the Rotella I haven't added any in over 3 months and it still looks very clean whenever I check it. Hope this helps because it's been working for me. :-)
