If the bruise is small and fading, you probably don't need to worry about it. If it's quite large it might be best to see a GP; they're unlikely to be able to treat a bruise, however they can reassure you that it's nothing more than a bruise. If you notice that generally you are bruising more easily than normal (finding unexplained bruises elsewhere), it might be best to see a GP. Some general vitamin and mineral deficiencies can mean that bruising occurs more easily; your GP can easily check for these.
