It was the day that the treaty was signed to end hostilities in WWWI. They signed it at 11 am. So it was signed on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.

Remembrance Day is a holiday not something that was "signed." But it commemorates the armistice that ended the hostilities of World War I. This was signed in a railway car on a siding in a forest near Compiêgne, France at 5 AM on November 11, 1918. The armistice took effect 6 hours later at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918.

At 5 am, in a railroad-car outside Compiegne, France the Germans signed an Armistice Agreement with the allied forces that led to the ending of hostilities a cease fire, so ending the War. This took place at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. The Peace Treaty that officially ended World War 1 was called the Treaty of Versailles. It was signed at the Palace of Versailles on 28th June 1919.
That time and date (which is tomorrow) is the moment that the armistice came into effect that ended the fighting in the First World War.

An armistice was signed on 11 November 1918 (as far as I know it was at 6am) by the leaders of both sides (the Allied Powers and the Central Powers) in Ferdinand Foch's railway carriage headquarters at Compiegne, and it came into force 4 hours later.
