East of the Washington Monument, you'll find the National World War II Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial. The National World War II Memorial is located at the eastern end of the Reflecting Pool, while the Lincoln Memorial sits further along, at the western edge of the pool. Both are significant landmarks within the National Mall area in Washington, D.C.
The Vietnam Veterans' Memorial, located along the northwest side of the reflecting pool near the Lincoln Memorial is free to visit, and is open 24 hours per day, seven days a week. It is operated by the National Park Service with support and assistance from the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund.
The reflection pool in Washington D.C. is a long rectangular pool located at the base of the Lincoln Memorial. At the eastern end of the pool is the World War II Memorial, and at the western end is the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. The pool empties into a small plaza with steps leading up to the Lincoln Memorial.
