Jets were introduced by the Nazi's towards the end of WWII. Helicopters debuted for the Americans in Korea. Admitting that the question itself is requesting a subjective answer, I'm tempted to say the first war to see extensive use of both jets and helicopters was Viet Nam, but that was only a conflict, so I guess the first American war to see extensive use of both jets and helicopters was Gulf War I, and the first war in the world to see extensive use of both jets and helicopters was probably the Falklands War.
No jet aircraft were used in WW1.
Large scale jet-on-jet combat, helicopters, improved rifles and machine guns.
Thw Hawker Siddeley Harrier was the first harrier jump jet. It is a British aircraft of the first generartion of V/STOL. The Boeing/BAE Systems AV-8B Harrier is the second generation
Hanna Reitsch was a most remarkable pilot: first woman airline captain, first woman to fly a helicopter, first woman to fly a rocket aircraft, first woman to fly a jet and one of the best glider pilots who still set glider record flights at the age of 75.
It can mean anything to support the enemy, such as writing pens and writing paper (to boost morale). But normally, "war material" is: 1. Weapons 2. Ammunition 3. Military Vehicles: Tanks, Self-Propelled Artillery, Jet Aircraft, Airplanes, Missile launchers, Helicopters, War Boats, Warships, etc.
Helicopters, a Harrier Jet
For light and propellor-driven aircraft, usally avgas. Helicopters and aircraft with gas turbine or jet engines, JetA1
The type of fuel is specific to the type of engine, not the aircraft. Helicopters that have jet engines use jet fuel, and helicopters that have internal combustion engines use gasoline. However the General Electric T-58 had a device in the fuel control that allowed you to burn just about anything from avgas to jet fuel to kerosene.
An aircraft is any machine that can fly in air. The jet is simply another type of propulsion, that is, of making an aircraft move. Jet engines are very common in many aircraft of all kinds. Many aircraft also have turbo-props, which is really just a jet engine driving a propeller. These are especially useful in slow flying transports and helicopters.
Most helicopters used a kerosene based fuel, such as Jet A, Jet B, or - in the case of military aircraft of NATO countries - JP-8. However, helicopters which use internal combustion engines will use standard 100 Low Lead petrol fuel.
Heinkel in Germany built the first flying jet aircraft.
The Comet
The first turbojet aircraft to fly was the Heinkel He 178
you can't get a jet in gta yet only helicopters
Helicopters use aviation turbine fuel most commonly known as "Jet A". This fuel resembles kerosene, on which other aircraft run.
Vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL), usually the domain of helicopters, can also be achieved by the Harrier Jump Jet, and the Osprey tilt-rotor aircraft.
The first jet aircraft was the Heinkel He178 flown in 1939.
