  • The Afghanistan War

There are a number of other conflicts involving Australiasuch as Sudan and the Boxer Rebellion but our role in that was quite small.

Australia existed as a Federation, rather than as several separate British colonies, from 1901. So Australia as such could participate in international affairs only from that date.

Before federation, Australians participated in the Second Boer War

Australia participated in the First World War, the Second World War, Korea (a police action, not a war), and Vietnam
