We do not know what Jesus' infancy was like, but two gospels give two different summary accounts.
Matthew's Gospel says that Jesus spent his infancy in Egypt, out of fear that King Herod would seek to kill him if he returned to his home in Bethlehem. A few years later, after the death of Herod, the young family began the return trip to the home in Bethlehem but, being warned in a dream, Joseph turned aside and travelled to Galilee where they settled in a town called Nazareth.
Luke's Gospel says that Jesus spent his entire infancy and childhood peacefully in Nazareth, travelling south to Jerusalem each year for the Passover celebrations. In this Gospel, Jesus never left King Herod's control because there was no need to fear Herod.
He grew up just like any other child. Only that He had a spiritual mission to fulfill.

During infancy, there are significant cognitive changes as the brain develops rapidly. Infants start to make sense of the world through their senses, develop object permanence (understanding objects exist even when not seen), and begin to learn through exploration and repetition. Cognitive abilities such as memory, attention, and problem-solving also start to emerge during this time.
