David Tennant's first job was acting in an anti-smoking PSA when he was 16. The following year he guest starred in an episode of the TV show Dramarama, before going to drama school. When he left drama school he joined a socialist theatre company called 7:84. His first really big job was starring in the TV series Takin' Over the Asylum when he was 22.
