From First to Last
HENRY
The first large scale sculpture by Michelangelo was a standing larger than life marble sculpture of Hercules. Eventually the statue made its way to Paris and was erected in one of the gardens at Fontainebleau by Henry IV. In 1713 the garden was destroyed and the statue lost.

Michelangelo's earliest sculpture was a stone relief called the 'Battle of the Centaurs'. He created it when he was about 17.

In 1919 Moore became the first student of sculpture at the Leeds College of Art and Design. He was then 21 years old. 10 years earlier he had decided to become a sculptor.

Henry Moore first sculpted "Standing Figure" in 1951. After this sculpture, his work takes a different turn and becomes many sculptures of human figures that are reclining, a modern take on Aztec and Mayan sculptures.
When she wrote it, she called it Spareribs and Henry. When it was published (and how we know it), it is called Henry Huggins.
