Hindu is the oldest religion on the earth and because of being such an old religion it got lot of literature and practices in every possible field which are explained in detailed in various book (grantha). These include inventions,science,engg,medical,pharmacy,economics,media,art,space to universe and lots of thing. And Hinduism can be characterized by various qualities which may be differ to different sub caste under the hindu religion.The best way to follow hindu dharama is to follow the work of great men (Avatars) in hindu religion from Shri krishna, Shri Rama to Lord Shiva to various hindu goddess.

In hindu dharam is classified in 4 different classes (varnas)

1. Brahmins (Top most persons like priest and teachers)

2. Kshatriyas (Kings, warriors, fighters, keepers, nobles etc)

3. Vaishyas (merchants, businessmen and farmers)

4. Shudras (workers and laborers etc)

These class people have different work (duty) to perform and also different characteristics . These classification was based in type of work person is expert like good fighter go to Kshatriyas or good record and business work go to vaishyas but later on it changed. If u are born in brahmin family then only you are brahmin.

Two characteristics of Hinduism are

1. Ahimsha (non- violence )

2. Vegetarianism

Karma (action/work/deeds) and Dharama (religion) have very special meaning and place in hinduism .
