The first volume of Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica, Latin for "Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy", commonly known as the Principia("Principles")

He wrote the first volume during 1685 and 1686 and it was published on the 5th July 1687. Two further volumes were published in 1713 and 1726.

The 3 books (particularly the 1st and 3rd books) of Pricipia are widely regarded as one of the most important works of both Physics and Applied Mathematics ever published. They include:
