Henry the eighth ate mainly meat and wine and did not eat any vegetables as he considered these to be related to peasants and refused to eat them!

King Henry VIII had a large variety of food that he considered his favorite. One was not enough. Spit-roasted meat, eggs, cake, etc. he loved it all.

Anything, from Roast swans to beef, they had a great many courses and the meals went on for hours...no desserts though, they were rarely made....or so it is documented

Anything that is rich and unhealthy! In Tudor times they used to eat many meats and sugared fruits. That's how he came to die so young!
