We cannot know. At some point in the 1860s he was dissatisfied with his earlier works and destroyed most of them.
Renoir's father was called Leonard Renoir, and was a 'modest artisan' (a tailor) in Limoges who struggled to find stable work. Leonard moved the Renoir family to Paris when Pierre-Auguste was four years old...I know little about his mother.
