What exactly are you talking about? European monarchs were quite different from each other, who are you referring to? And what natives? Europeans went on a colonizing spree across the world between the 15th and 19th centuries, where they came into contact with "natives" from every conceivable part of the world. If you're referring to Spanish, Portuguese, British, French and Dutch colonization of the Americas, the monarchs were partly responsible. As the heads of the kingdoms, vested with virtually all authority and power, it was them who made the decisions to commence with American colonization. At the same time, there were tons of other actors, from explorers to merchants to missionaries who all had a stake and an interest in colonization. The Spanish Crown made the decision to continue to send conquistadors to the Americas, but it wasn't a decision made in a vaccum. It was a combination of personal and political desires that led to colonization.
It was a system of colonization used by the empire of Spain. When the Spanish conquered the natives in the Caribbean, South America, and later the Philippines, these natives were required to pay tribute or perform work for Spanish landowners. In return the Native Americans would receive protection from other tribes, education, and Christianity. This worked greatly in the favor of the Spanish colonists who received the trusteeship and land (an encomendado), but was little better than involuntary servitude for many native tribes.(see related link)
The encomienda (Spanish pronunciation: [eŋkoˈmjenda]) was a system that was employed mainly by the Spanish crown during the colonization of the Americas to regulate Native American labor. In the encomienda, the crown granted a person a specified number of natives for whom they were to take responsibility. In theory, the receiver of the grant was to protect the natives from warring tribes and to instruct them in the Spanish language and in the Catholic faith: in return they could extract tribute from the natives in the form of labor, gold or other products.[1] In practice, the difference between encomienda and slavery could be minimal.[1] Natives were forced to do hard labor and subjected to extreme punishment and death if they resisted.[1]In the former Inca Empire, for example, the system continued the Incaic (and even pre-Incaic) traditions of extracting tribute under the form of labor.
Most heroes in Philippines have a history of being a leader that fought againts the Spaniads.

they bribed them and beat them to go against other natives
the native population was destroyed by European colonization, once they began interacting with each other trade and war both erupted between the groups, disease being the number one killer by far due to the natives having no resistance to the European diseases, followed by war with Europeans.
GOD: A desire to spread the teachings of Catholicism and convert natives. GREED: The vast natural riches of the New World, such as gold and other resources GLORY: Personal ambition and desire for fame in each conquistador/explorer.

Spanish is spoken in many countries due to historical reasons such as Spanish colonization in the Americas. It is also the official language in multiple countries as a result of ongoing cultural, economic, and political relationships with Spain. some natives and europeans did get along in-fact some got married but not all where like this. they had a very rough relationship, europeans introduced natives to alcohol, they took a lot of their land with no pay or virtually no pay, they changed their way of life and at certain points in history we even wanted to assimilate them. there was schools that brought big bunches of them in and a lot of the schools were violent but that was how their system worked back then. the natives and the europeans even had a few fights and disputes. To improve something or someone takes work and a lot of sacrifices.
