His biography doesn't tell us that. He was interested in everything and had over 6,000 books, a museum in his house, catalogued all the plants in Virginia, he designed his house, and wrote books. I think he disliked people who believed in the federalist philosophy, but thought of government in more an agrarian society framework and that revolution should happen every few years. This is basically why he broke with Adams for over 30 years.
