Krishna is an incarnation (avatar) of Vishnu. Although in the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna tells Arjun to regard him as the most transcendental being, he is talking on behalf of Vishnu (himself). So, they are the same God and, thus, both are of the same status.
Kalyug will end when the 10th and last incarnation of Vishnu is born on the mortal earth. This incarnation of the Hindu Preserver will be called Kalki.

The incarnation of Vishnu concerned with peace surprisingly enough, NOT Kali, is the one credited with inventing martial arts.
