Both Kenya & Zimbabwe (Formerly Southern Rhodesia) were part of the British Empire. Both Egypt & Sudan were British protectorates within the British Empire. Keyna is a member of the Commonwealth, but I think Zimbabwe is probably now suspended in these troubled times.

Northern Rhodesia became Zambia and Nyasaland became Malawi after dissolution on December 31, 1963. Southern Rhodesia became Rhodesia in 1965 and then became Zimbabwe Rhodesia in 1979 and finally became Zimbabwe in 1980.
