It was pretty much to get married and have lots of little boys.

in the home they were very important however, they were responsible for the running of the oikos. they would have to order the slaves about, but look after them if they got ill, raise the children, make clothes for the family and slaves, fetch water, and work out how much food would need to be bought to keep the family fed throughout the winter months.

Men may have run the city, but the house was a womens kingdom.
