It sounds like he may have allergies and depending on his age he may just outgrow it. Im not quite sure why the doctor would want to cauterize his nasal passages since cauterization is done to prevent nose bleeds and not runny noses.
Is electrocautery the same as bipolar cautery?

Basically an instrument that burns the vessels to stop bleeding. Bipolar and Monopolar are methods of electrocautery... Bipolar only passes through the tip of the electrode to affect a small area of tissue, whereas Monopolar includes the patients body into part of the circuit. Three days ago, I underwent electrocautery and chemical cautery with silver nitrate in my nose. Permanent fix to my never-ending nosebleeds. But, excruciating. Extremely painful. I am yet to find out if it is worth the pain.

Does it send out monthly? What happened to menstrual fluid for cow? I read as absorbed by itself. Now ovaries have no escape and so are disintegrating in the FT, and perhaps absorbed. But menstruation in women is preparation of the uterus wall to implant the zygote (fertilized egg that is fertilized elsewhere on its way out) and allow baby development. How can you stop nose bleeds?
This is actually quite a problem, with about 9% of 11-14 year olds experiencing recurrent nosebleeds for no apparent reason. Most will grow out of this before puberty. In the mean time, it can be quite distressing both for the child and those looking after them. Drugs such as tranexamic acid are used to control heavy bleeding, especially with menstrual problems, but are not ideal for children. Another option is to regularly apply antiseptic cream. Particular creams for this purpose are available (Naseptin), or steroid sprays like Betnesol-N. Sadly, these treatments are rather unpredictable in their success. The other option is, as you mentioned, cauterisation. This is often done with silver nitrate, but sometimes with a heat probe, and basically involves burning off the ends of the blood vessles to prevent them bleeding. Its quite successful but unfortunately can be really rather unpleasant. The best thing is to see your family doctor and explain that this is still a problem. Obviously in severe bleeding, which does not stop, do not hesitate to get medical help. I had severe nose bleeds when I was a child and they contiued up until a year ago.
