No way out to the world for the egg. So it has to be in the tube which is knotted and disintegrate there. How animals eggs are treated by nature for example cow.

Cow also has ovaries. Does it send out monthly? What happened to menstrual fluid for cow? I read as absorbed by itself. Now ovaries have no escape and so are disintegrating in the FT, and perhaps absorbed. But menstruation in women is preparation of the uterus wall to implant the zygote (fertilized egg that is fertilized elsewhere on its way out) and allow baby development. Hope I answerd and gave more.

After tubal ligation, a woman's ovaries still release an egg each month, there is just no place for it to go, and she will continue to have periods as before. Eggs produced by the ovaries disintegrate in the tube, or in some cases in the space surrounding the tube and uterus (peritoneal cavity).

About 4 out of 100 women will get pregnant during the first 10 years after their tubes are tied. (An egg has less chance of slipping through if you have your tubes closed by cauterisation, or burning.) If you do become pregnant, be sure to see your doctor right away; there's an increased risk that the egg will be implanted in your Fallopian tubes or abdomen, rather than in your uterus.

I read here in answers.com as the eggs are ovulated monthly as usual and they either disintegrate in the fallopian tube or in the cavity around.

It could just be stress or dietary changes....but considering the increased risk of tubal pregnancies after tubal ligation, it it wise to check with your DR.
