Who does tubal ligation reversals in New Zealand
Techincally any woman can. Usually its only women whove decided they no longer want to have children, who feel their family is complete. Many woman regret their decision later, either because they meet a new partner and want to have a baby with their new husband or a child dies, or just because the maternal thing clicks in and they want another baby. I had my tubal ligation after my last baby was born 18 months ago. I didnt really want it but felt after 5 c-sections it was my safest route, I also felt pressured from the surgeon who performed my c-section.
I WOULD SAY YES. I ASKED MY MALE OB/GYN BEFORE I HAD MINE DONE AND HE SAID NO. NOW 3 YEARS LATER MY NEW FEMALE GYN SAYS YES. 1 YEAR AFTER I HAD MINE DONE I STARTED TO HAVE THYROID PROBLEMS HYPO AND THEN A YEAR AFTER THAT I STARTED SKIPPING MY PERIODS FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER IN MY LIFE, AND THEN ANXIETY AND INSOMNIA STARTED. I BET IF I DID NOT HAVE IT DONE NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED! I would answer no. I had a tubal ligation 16 years ago. I am now 53 and still having normal regular periods.

Wow, it's like saying you're on the pill (without physically taking the pill) and having less than 100% effectiveness. If you don't want to get pregnant again, then I would use a backup plan until it gets fixed. You might want to go revisit the doctor who did the original tubal ligation on you and see what they can do for you. Going to a totally new doctor will totally add on some new expenses. If your original doctor doesn't do anything to help or if their clinic/hospital is uncooperative, you are entitled to file a medical malpractice law suit. Filing for malpractice does not mean that an injury was caused, but that the physician did not meet the expected standards of care.
