All Free Men age 21 or over could Vote; women could not. Women and children were a husband's / father's "property".
All children were taught by their mothers at home. "Education" depended on parents' knowledge.
Poor children and orphans were submitted to child labor without pay. Children were sent to "poor farms" where they were "apprenticed" to a man in the community. The worked as "apprentices" for room and board, without pay.
Prior to mid-1800s, only boys attended school, but typically only a few months if an ordinary child. In well off families, boys could attend longer, even being tutored at home or by someone already in one of the main professions: teacher, preacher, lawyer, doctor.
By mid-1800s, girls attended school too. Slowly, both girls and boys attended at least to 3rd grade or longer.

In the 1880s, a New York man began the American version of the SPCA - Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. A few years later, a woman volunteering for the Methodist Church in New York City found out about a little girl who was being repeatedly beaten and starved in her home. She approached the founder of the SPCA to help the girl. It was the first time a parent was charged, convicted, and sentenced for child abuse. The Child Welfare agency had (finally) begun.

However--- Nationwide, Blacks still face discrimination today. Child Abuse continues. Women still receive unequal pay for the same jobs as men. Men and especially White Men still have power and privilege.

The question can be divided into two part: one is the woman is Muslim and other part is Pakistani. The daily life of Muslim differ from person to person depending on how devoted the woman is. A typical pacticing woman will pray five times a day, fast in the month of Ramadan, taking care of her children and home. A part from these a Muslim Pakistani woman do what any other woman will do.

In Athens they were kept in purdah in the house rearing children and working in the house and garden. In Sparta, they were free to participate in daily life, play sports etc.
It depends. Most are working. Some are housewives.
Back then, usually normal what women did back then. Cook, clean, take care of children, once in while they would get some wood, but mostly household stuff.
